Calls Without Answers - Lyrics

Stormy winters and wind in my eyes, moving forward through the frozen night.

The goal is near or so you said, darkness fading, somewhere up ahead.

Voices pulling me back and calls without answers. I must go, I must see: I’ll let no-one stop me.

I feel it’s almost time: look out, clouds may fall on you

Hurry up and jump to the other side.

Hills and rivers stand in my way. Rest an hour, let the mind play.

The smell of summer and grass in my hands, dreams forsaken, isles of golden sand

Choices holding me back and walls without windows.

If you please, I’d be grateful if you would try to save me.

Feeling cold inside, all trials can wait until tomorrow.

It’s alright to feel sad, sometimes.

One day we’ll find somewhere we can see the sky

Look out crowds may stare at you

Don’t expect those fools to understand.

Sail out to sea. Let them stay behind, remaining blind to what lies beyond.

Feeling old inside, lay down and sleep until tomorrow.

It’s ok to feel tired. I’m glad that you chose to be here.

Precious whispers and walks in the rain, chances taken, frightening all the same.

Tell me where I should go; I stand at a crossroads.

Upon making mistakes, going over every step taken

Where a million decisions have lead me to you.
